I'm looking for others to chip in on this one. I'm noticing something very weird with HotForex. The traders I refer to them usually trade only for the first month.. or maybe three months utmost. Of course they manage to make a decent commission, but I'm surprised that HotForex has such a low lifetime value of traders.

Comparing to other brokers such as Markets.com or Sunbird, where traders average value is definitely > 3 months i'm half inclined to think that perhaps something dodgy is going on.

Has anyone else noticed this problem?

HI Admin, I asked about HotForex on another forum recently as I was looking into promoting them. Everyone seemed to bash them fairly hard. From people saying they were converting bad to what your saying regarding trading activity then no activity. Site looks great and rev share looks great but affiliates don't seem impressed.

I noticed you posted back in June. Are you still using them or just Markets dot com & Sunbird? I am looking for for a solid top paying broker as I am launching my sites soon. Thanks.

Well to answer your question, HotForex is doing ok. I think I posted this thread back in June. Monitoring my account closely I notice that traders usually tend to create account and then deposit funds a month or two later. Furthermore, what I noticed is that some times trader just trade for a month and then cool off and come back after a month or two break.

The same pattern follows with other brokers such as ThinkForex as well.

You could promote HotForex, they're very good for conversions from asian markets, compared to Markets which has more success in europe.

Their Hotforex Trader platform sucks, very poor order and position tracking and the settings for order routing change on their own so orders sometimes don't get filled! Slippage even in the quietest market and prices often freeze around news. Customer service is polite but useless, they don't even know how to use the Hotforex Trader platform themselves! If you're a hotforex trader
please stay away from them

It was a great disappointment trading with Hotforex. I suffered huge sum of losses. Their MetaTrader platform is cheating you
- it's like the platform has been programmed intentionally to give you losses. Every time I made an entry, the chart's bar
moved away rapidly in reverse direction thus giving me losses. For other chart that I didn't make any entry, the bar moved
very slowly - baiting me to make entries. There is something wrong with their MetaTrader platform.Be careful!

Be extremely careful with hotforex, especially if you are going trade volatile markets on short time frames.

I would like to warn everyone using hotforex. This is what happened last night I bought oil futures and tried to close the deal when it showed me a profit of around $50 but couldnt do it. It asked me to contact the dealers room and within seconds it converted into a loss of $70. This time I tried to close the deal and it did. When I spoke to the dealers room they said they cant do anything except forwarding my complaint to my account manager. I am expecting some silly excuse tomorrow but if they dont do anything I will take some action.
